# Understanding metrics

> Read goal metrics and the conversions chart

Once a campaign with an attached goal is sending, Loops tracks impressions, enrollments, and conversions. This guide explains how to read those numbers. For definitions of the underlying terms, see the [glossary in the Goals overview](/docs/goals/overview#glossary).

## Reading goal metrics

* **Contacts evaluated** and **contacts converted** count **unique contacts**. A person is counted at most once per goal.
* **Contacts enrolled** and **active / completed measurements** count **windows**. Every enrollment opens exactly one window, and a person could have multiple enrollments on the same goal.

The **conversions chart** plots first-time conversions per day, bucketed in **your browser's timezone**. A contact is never counted twice, and daily counts may differ by region.
